Thomas Xavier Cross was born in Brooklyn, New York to an Irish-Catholic family which includes 4 generations of NYC Police Officers. After graduating Purdue University with Honors, he spent the next twenty two years on Wall Street in Sales and Trading before moving into the President’s chair for a boutique brokerage firm . Following his time on Wall Street , he helped turn a hobby into a multi million dollar international specialty auto parts business and was even featured on a few Hot Rod TV shows. An avid reader and lover of mystery and thriller fiction, Thomas X. finally retired in 2015. His hobbies include collecting and restoring vintage automobiles. His first short story “IS TODAY THE DAY” was published back in December 2020 in Yellow Mama magazine.

Thomas X. is the author of the Shea Flaherty mystery and thriller series which includes his first novel, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER-a Thriller.
